About us
AMBERG Engineering Brno a.s. (Joint-Stock Company), a member of the Amberg Group, is a company with more than 25 years of tradition in the Czech and international market providing comprehensive services in the field of design of mainly geotechnical structures.
To handle demanding projects in the areas of underground construction, special foundations, landslide remediation or tunnel reconstruction, our team consists of engineers from a wide range of disciplines with authorizations for geotechnics, statics and construction dynamics, bridges, civil engineering structures and transport structures. Thanks to the strong background of the AMBERG Group, our company has the know-how gained through cooperation at the world’s most extensive tunnel constructions. Thanks to our experience and innovative approach, we are ready for the most demanding projects and challenges that may arise in our field.

- A specialized group of SW development staff is constantly involved in the development of tunnel software for the sister company Amberg Technologies AG

There will be a change in the Executive Management of AMBERG Engineering Brno, a.s. as of 1 January 2024. The current CEO Mr. Vlastimil Horák has decided at his own request to resign from this position on 31.12.2023 after reaching retirement age. Vlastimil Horák has been working for AMBERG Engineering Brno, a.s. since 1993, since 2001 as CEO. On behalf of the company we would like to thank Vlastimil Horák for his work and contribution.
We are not saying goodbye to him completely, as he will continue to work with us on various projects in the role of lead designer and tunneling expert. The position of CEO will be taken over on 1 January 2024 by the current member of the Executive Management, Mr. Lumír Kliš.
The positions in the Executive Management will be held by the current member of the Executive Management, Mr. Jiří Rožek and the new member of the Executive Management Ms. Alice Žíttová.
